    I have a 2 year old medium spec laptop, and i'll be able to run this game sweet on alrightish settings, stop crying and get an ebay lappy on the cheap - life's too short to miss dope games my friend...

    the sounds of those heavy weapons being used better be in this game for the trooper's weapons... that cannon the republic officer had such a sick noise. you could hear the explosive power of the canisters he was firing. and that green lasered rail gun or whatever you wanna call it sounded awesome too.. i understand the game can't LOOK this awesome but the guns and music better!

    You hate Bioware because they don't cater to you and you alone? Somebody needs to quit pouting and grow up...

    Not to mention my computer is a $1200 custom rig and can play crysis at high settings without a stutter. You will probably be able to get by with a $600 or less custom rig for this game.

    to bad i dont have a $2thousand custom computer to play this game and this is why I hate Bioware now like an mmo cant play on da console.

    This is like the 10th time I've seen this, and I still think it's the best Star Wars video/movie/whatever since the original trilogy. Completely badass. I can only hope the live action show in preproduction comes somewhere close to mimicking this.

    This was one battle where I was equally rooting for both the good guys and the bad guys (usually, Sith are WAY cooler).

    I am amazed with these cinematics. They are mind blowing. I wish they would make a trilogy using cgi. It could be amazing. I wouldn't want it to be in the era of Vader but a past arc would be sweet. The game itself looks incredible. I am gonna start building my gaming rig asap. I was hoping the 6k series by ati was gonna be out sooner so the 5k would go down. I want crossfire 5870s or a 5970. Would love an i7 but it looks like i wont have the cash flow so AMDs new six core will do just fine with a little OC, Stoked!

    This and the 'deceived' trailer are the best thing to come into the Star Wars world since the original trilogy. At this point I rather see them make more shorts like these than see the game come out.

    @NightPheonix117 - Bioware started as a PC developer, and all their games to date have appeared on PC, with a good number also appearing on consoles. However, since MMOs rarely work on anything but PCs, BioWare made the right decision in keeping this an exclusive. Would you rather be able to play this on consoles and have a laggy, stripped experience? I think not.

    PS - You don't need a thousand dollar PC to run this game, or any of today's games, really. Look at some customizable gaming PC sites and you can find great rigs for under $1000. But only use these sites if you're a PC gaming enthusiast (which, by the tone of your post, I suppose you aren't), or you could end up building a rig that IS crap.

    They dont want to bring this MMO to consoles so screw them! Why do I have to spend over $1,000 on a new pc to play this game thier making everybody else miss out so screw them!

    @kwloy Thanks for that comment I didn't even put two and two together. So this shows why he was the mouth piece in the deceived trailer. Everyone was saying it was darth malak which is wrong because this takes place way before malak. They should right a novel on this story or something lol

    @TheMercMaster, you seem to not be following the game very well so I will help you out here dude.

    1. Alderann has already been confirmed as a playing area in game, infact it has been confirm as the first battleground for PvP action.

    2. The Sith guy in the trailer's name is Darth Malgus, and he isn't dead becuase this is a prequel to the "Deceived" Trailer.

    If you go to Swtor.com, it has a lot of useful info.

    And as always, the empire is so much cooler than the geeky republic! I remeber hating the republic winning in the movies.
