i give these guys huge props for straying away from what made this series great by ditching the underwater scene, which made it so unique, and heading in an entirely new direction by adapting a new setting surrounded by new characters and new gameplay characteristics. and it looks like theyll pull it off cause im springing for this one as soon as its out, and im guessing im not alone.

You want to see a stage demo, don't you? Well, what demo?

@SixTwoOne To add to that, I think a big problem with Twitter is that interviewers and presenters, in all fields, rely too much on Twitter comments in terms of what questions to ask. One could argue that this leads to questions being asked that the fans, the gamers, want to know the answers to. The downside is, as most of us know by now, is that the internet is full of idiots and their questions tend to be stupid.

@SixTwoOne I hear you. That seems horribly commonplace with GS interviews.

Feel bad for Ken. You can almost hear him thinking "Damn I wish this guy spent less time eating cookies and more time prepping for this interview."

    Worst Interview EVER!

  • MikeK47

    Posted Jun 13, 2011 5:37 pm GMT

I feel that most shooters don't tell you to just go off and start shooting like Ken says. Most shooters train you to take shots when it is most effective. If I went around playing a shooter just firing wildly I would get killed if the game had any difficulty to it

worst interviewer ever.... you can see the awkward on Ken's face.

this wasnt a demo..this was just a trailer =( but anyway it looks nice,i like the location apart from a deep sea adventure and it looks kinda cartoony,i think it will be alot of fun

I dont think Ricardo likes this game very much. He seemed kind of bored and not really enthusiastic about it. I also dont like how he reffered to everyone as "kids". How many "kids" do you think will be playing this game??

After playing Bioshock 2 I'll wait for the reviews before buying and if the term "derivative" pops up its out. Bioshock 1 was very innovative. I remember reading about Bioshock and hearing System Shock come up alot which I never played but I read was great and hopefully this game is another stroke of genius.

I just started checking out Gamespot, I usually check other websites so maybe there is something I am not aware of here. The host interviewing people at E3 sucks really bad, I can't stand him, why do they have this guy instead of someone who seems more natural and knows what they are doing?

  • Tremblay343

    Posted Jun 12, 2011 2:18 pm GMT

@metalliod Well Ken Levine and irrational made the first game, but the second was made by a bunch of different 2k studios. So this is back to the original developer, and hopefully the original feel.

@klitfelt yea the atmosphere of rapture was better. it was creepier and i acually felt trapped in a mad house. in this it feels like all i have to do is jump and end it all

  • metalliod

Bioshock 2 was dissapointing for me as compared to Bioshock.I hope this part is more intense and dramatic just like the first part.

@doometernity - what ever. I still miss the atmosphere of Rapture, which this one seems to lack.

just lost a ton of interest in bioshock seems kinda of lame, its not attractive at all, not like rapture

  • far-dee-jay

    Posted Jun 11, 2011 9:12 pm GMT

We have to find our way back to Rapture , there is the real soul of Bioshock , nothing more nothing less.

  • Simple_minDed1

    Posted Jun 11, 2011 8:30 pm GMT

Hope they have lots of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller style music. What era is Infinite set in?

  • doometernity

    Posted Jun 11, 2011 5:17 pm GMT

@klitfelt thats really only cuz you didnt see many regular human faces in rapture but i think the style is still very much the same. as for the colors, this is in the sky so it has to be more colorful than the dark underwater city of rapture
