Kingdom Hearts 358/2 arises on DS Sept. 29

E3 2009: Square Enix and Disney's multiplayer-enabled crossover RPG arrives on Nintendo's portable this fall.

LOS ANGELES--As part of Nintendo's 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo press conference yesterday, the publisher shuffled out a number of role-playing games headed to the Wii and DS over the next 12 to 18 months. Along with announcing Mario and Luigi RPG: Bowser's Inside Story and Golden Sun for the best-selling portable, Nintendo also said that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 from Square Enix would arrive for the DS in North America on September 29.

How about we just go with Kingdom Hearts 179.

358/2 Days is set between the events of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2. The game follows KH2 character Roxas while he was a member of Organization XIII, and as is the series' trademark, it will take place across a wide variety of Disney universes. 358/2 Days will also introduce a multiplayer mode to the series, allowing four players to join up together locally.

    yo beatz he wasnt awake for the last week which is why he doesnt remeber axel in KH 2 not the first week

    I already obtained the Japanese version by....alternative means...

    It's pretty good, and multiplayer is a good idea. It is repetetive, but I suspect it will score well on GameSpot.

    @Jag_T1000: Roxas existed (as a Nobody) for 365 days.
    For the first week, he was not awake, he was in some kind of trance, or something.
    365 - 7 (days) = 358.
    The 2 is the amount of days Sora spent sleeping, when Naminé erased his memories.

    That's one theory, at least.
    The creater of the game (can't remember his name), said that 358/2 Days is a term the players will understand near the ending of the game.

    It's pronounced "Three-Five-Eight Days Over Two". It's supposed to be some sorta code relating to how long Roxas has been in the Organization. This is one of the many awesome DS games coming out this fall. can't wait.

    It's called 358 and a half days because Roxis is the main character and he's been a member of Organization 13 for 358/2 days. Kinda slick if you ask me lolz!

    Oh. I had misunderstood when I was watching the conference. I thought this was the original Kingdom Hearts coming to DS. Have to admit I'm a little disappointed, never got to play that one (don't have PS2) and was looking forward to trying it as I already own a DS.
